Baptist Men

 Baptist Men’s Ministry:

The Baptist Men is an organization for the men and young men of the church. Each and every one is invited to participate by attending the Baptist Men’s meetings and /or by joining the Brotherhood Mission Outreach opportunities.

Officers for 2011-2012 are:

David Strickland Jr., Outdoor Ministry Coordinator

David Strickland Sr.,Handyman Ministry Coordinator

Alan Strickland, Assistant Handyman Ministry Coordinator

Objectives:
Create opportunities for men to build Christ-centered, trusting relationship in which they help, encourage and equip each other to:

·        Grow in Christ-likeness

·        Serve others in need

·        Evangelize to the lost

Serve Others In Need: We do this through the “Brotherhood Outreach Mission” coordinated by Chandler Wynne and David Strickland. Each month we have a planned outreach project. During these projects we help our church family members who need our assistance but we hope to do mission work in our community as well.

We have a strong handy-man ministry, which builds handicap ramps, handrails, and other projects which are scheduled on an “as needed emergency basis”.
